Not included in these records:

  • Pre-season matches
  • International friendlies involving MLS clubs
  • World Football Challenge matches involving MLS clubs

    Great listing! You know what would be a field I’d like to see? Winning percentage! You could sort the teams listed by this factor, so newer teams like Toronto, Union, Timbers, Sounders, etc. can see how they stack amongst the league’s all-time greats

  2. Great stuff. I’d also like to see the pure MLS regular-season stats.

  3. You should do points per match, while winning is cool it ignores tactical draws.

    Actually rather than winning percentage the most common way to compare teams records between clubs that have played different number of games that I’ve seen is, Average Points per Game.

      Thanks for the comment. Had thought of doing that but not all competitions included in this listing give out points for victories. This could be useful for the regular-season only stats, though!
